Hiya Mrs H-- we have a deep fat frier--- cook chips at 160 ( after soaking them for a few hours ) ( Maris Piper ) dry them and cook till they feel soft-- lift the basket out and leave for a few minutes before putting them back in for a couple of mins- yummeeeee..

Fish and chips from the chip shop tonight at my son's request which is fine by me as it means I don't have to cook

2 corn-beef pasties from the local baker for lunch with a huge steaming hot mug of double strong coffee.. It does not sound good but it was lush.
