Stopping emails etc;...

Click on your "Profile" tab -- menu bar at the top--- then on "Preferences" ( the next bar down )---- sort them all out from here. Schimples.

Any chance that the Hide Online Status might work? I never seems to work on phBB places.

Set it in your prefs and see if it works. If it doesn't give us a shout and i will look into it.

Have saved again your Prefs Marge--- could have been backed up emails.. Hope this works.... sorry.

Real I am still getting them if they dont stop I will have to give shady pines a miss I have been deleting them all day please can you try and sort it out for me thank you

Marge--- all your prefs are set correctly-- you should not be recieving emails???? Can you block them from your mailbox on your lappy??? I am really sorry about this--- they shouldn't be coming to you....... I can't find anything else to do from here... I will contact the help line and see if they have a solution--- again am really sorry..

You can block them but being a Mac-- i don't know how to help you there.. I am as mad as you must be coz your prefs are set correctly...

I have adjusted your prefs for you You should not get anymore

Real I am still getting emails and my preferences are set right, my daughter has blocked these emails so they go straight into my spam box I delete them last thing at night,but the stop emails are not working from this end and will put members off,hopefully they can redirect them to spambox in their email account

Margs, look at the bottom right hand corner of the pages below the threads that you post in. It should say either "watch this topic" or "stop watching this topic". If it says the latter you need to click on it otherwise you will get an email every time someone posts in the threads.

Check on each forum and each topic you post in Marg. It should be "watch this" as the default but in my case some were set to send emails without me setting it and I had to check them to stop the emails.
